| DESCRIPTION |
This is an original choral work for Advent. It's been warmly received at a number of congregations around the country. Set to a tune reminiscent of an English folksong, each verse begins, "In the winter of the year..." The chorus:
Lord, how long will it take
for the power of love to break
through the masquerade of all the things we fear?
Then for grace do we pray
as we wait the coming day,
as we wait in the winter of the year.
